College (Intaglio) Angst

Here is a print I did in college that my sister came across while going through some old boxes.

I remember learning a lot while making this print. If I had it my way, I would have stopped with a solid area rug and would have thought myself a genius for creating the light around the lamp. However, my teacher, Stanley Rosenthal, encouraged me to continue adding detail. I think this print is still in the proofing phase because I know I added more detail to the painting on the wall and may have brought out more of the details in the shadow.

Regardless, I am glad my sister found it.
